Sara Barker
Vice President, Corporate Support Services
Sara Barker has 15 years’ experience as a driven professional in the supply chain, sourcing and procurement industry. Sara currently serves as Vice President, Corporate Support Services for Medxcel where she is responsible for the oversight and operational performance of key corporate support divisions. Sara also participates in Medxcel’s executive team to achieve growth initiatives, strategic goals and support other critical functions.
Previously, Sara served as Director of Supply Chain for Medxcel where she guided the growth platforms and processes for sourcing, procurement, logistics, contract administration, risk mitigation and vendor service management. Sara also has experience as a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Medxcel where she led sourcing strategies for facilities services, project services and facility materials which delivered cost reduction, business process improvements and supplier risk mitigation with focus on quality and compliance.
Prior to joining Medxcel, Sara served as the Manager of Special Procurement at Ascension Health where she was responsible for the implementation and management of standardized processes within the non-contract spectrum. Sara earned a Bachelor’s degree from Erskine College in Due West, S.C.
