Leadership associate spotlights

At the advice of a family friend, Aaron took his first step into healthcare over twenty years ago. Starting as a boiler operator in a Wisconsin hospital, he now leads several facilities teams across the country, finding joy in a career that positively impacts lives. As Vice President, Operations, he ensures teams have the resources, tools, and support needed to serve patients, empower clinicians, and meet client expectations. Through mentorship, Aaron allows others to harness their unique strengths, fostering collaboration and unity as they work toward a shared mission.

Safety is huge for patients. You never want anyone to go home sicker than they came into our facilities. We can’t do anything about what brought them to the hospital, but we don’t want their condition to worsen because of our buildings, or because the air pressure is wrong, or because there was a fire, for example. They shouldn’t have to worry about water systems, temperature, humidity, none of those things should be on their minds.
 

I often find myself in the role of a coach. The conversations I have with people are less about me telling them what to do, and more about listening. “How would you do this? Have you thought about this?” I also  provide insight and perspective to other departments on how initiatives might land in the field, exploring any ramifications we may not have considered.

Daniel oversees the operations of the maintenance and facilities department at his client’s healthcare facility. As Facilities Director, he works with the client and Medxcel to align and achieve operational goals while ensuring safe and efficient operation of the site in compliance with applicable regulatory and safety guidelines, all while maintaining service excellence.

Meet Joy! Joy is the Manager of Regulatory Compliance Support for Medxcel. In her role Joy leads Medxcel’s team of Facilities Support Managers who are responsible for implementing policies, procedures, processes, ad providing training to support of the Facility Management Operating system (FMOS®) for Medxcel’s operations across the United States. Through her team of Compliance Support Managers, Joy holds primary responsibility for assuring those policies, procedures, and protocols are implemented, enabling standardization, training, optimization, and compliance of facility operations.

 

Meet Greg! In his role as Director of Fire Systems, Greg is responsible for the strategy, direction, organization, and administration of Medxcel’s national fire systems program. He assists in developing and executing the policies and procedures of the program to support fire systems and safety compliance for Medxcel customers.
 

Meet Lee! In her role as Director, Customer Experience Center, Lee is responsible for two customer service teams, the Client Experience Center (CEC) and the Client Solution Center (CSC). These teams contribute to the retention and satisfaction of Medxcel clients through a focus on customer service and operational service standards. Lee develops and implements customer service strategies and processes that allow the teams to provide exceptional service support for customers and Medxcel field associates. Lee and her leaders work together to ensure that their frontline team members are trained and prepared to assist customers and have all the resources needed to quickly bring issues to resolution.
 

Meet Kelly! Kelly is a Resource Director for Medxcel. In her role, Kelly acts a liaison between the site teams and the overall Medxcel Facilities Management team. Members of the resource team work with Medxcel leadership to take on a variety of assignments as needed including temporarily backfilling vacant positions and working on special projects.
 

Carla is a VP, Operations for Medxcel, overseeing facilities management services across multiple sites in her assigned region. Working closely with customers, Carla is responsible for integrated service delivery, customer retention, associate development, and strategic initiatives in her region. Carla works closely with Medxcel and customer leadership teams to ensure strategic alignment and achievement of goals for all parties.
